    I think「∧尾」(Yama -O or kasa -O) is“屋号Yagou” Yagou is trade name refers to the title given to the house based on the characteristics of sept-family. 
    Yama is「山」Mountain. Kasa is 「傘」Umbrella. 「尾(O)」is Tail. Perhaps, it is Yamao.

    This is I think the individual mark of the pilot. And I guess to have been using the "trade name".

    Names that stick of "tail" is "尾形 Ogata","尾島 Ojima", 小尾 Obi","宮尾 Miyao" etc ... 
    Of 498 people soldiers was there to "263-Kuu". But how to find a name that stick the "tail" is not.

    I was were able to confirm the name of the "Miyao Yoshio" to the war dead of 1944.6.18. But II think it is a different person.

    Or there is a possibility of "Squadron mark". I because also considered leopard tail. But it is lack in quality as a mark. Wingman to "8-24" do not have the mark. I I think the mistake therefore this guess.

    видел, когда делают стеганное одеяло. Стендовый моделизм содержит помимо технической еще и художественную составляющую. Если сделаю стеганное одеяло, большинство скажет, что я криворукое животное, и самолета живьем никогда не видел. Поэтому едва намечаю.

    Андрей, может и не попал в цвет, но консультировался с Дугласом, он вроде ничего не говорил. Кроме того, фоткал на телефон, т.к. нет фотоаппарата. Тут цвета гуляют кошмарно. Приезжай на Киев модел фест, посмотришь живьем

    Костя, это иллюстрация сколов (их практического отсутствия).
    Использую смывки и еще набор для двигателя. Потеки масла очень понравились. Реально цвет масла и очень блестит. При чем мгновенно сохнет (не пару недель) как обычное масло. Сколы рисовал кисточкой и спонжиками - сильвер Модел Мастер. Везерю в несколько заходов. с большими перерывами и смотрю, не слишком ли сильно получилось. Тут лучше не доделать, чем сделать излишним

    Они были грунтованные красной грунтовкой, и не сильно поцарапанные. Тем более мой борт всего 4 месяца летал. Народ, который делает его пошкрябанным - далековат от истины. Вот два самолета с Сайпана, того же периода.

    Немножко везеринга. К сожалению, фото телефоном не передает игру цвета. Не везде можно увидеть даже более темную окантовку хиномару. По завершению выложу финальную фотосессию. Очередной раз порадовала химия Аммо. Предсказуемый результат - главное ее отличие
